Les archives de la marque attestent que ce châssis a été commercialisé le 8 février 1966 et livré à la carrosserie Henri Chapron le 10 février 1966. Réalisée sous le numéro de fabrication Chapron #8963, sur la coque d’origine #0032000120, cette voiture fut achevée dans les ateliers de Levallois-Perret. Les documents d’époque précisent qu’elle a été initialement configurée dans une élégante livrée Rouge Rubis associée à un intérieur en cuir noir.

Cette DS Chapron bénéficie des attestations officielles de Citroën Heritage et des archives Chapron, confirmant son authenticité et sa correspondance avec les caractéristiques d’origine. We are delighted to offer for sale a magnificent and genuine Citroën DS 21 M Cabriolet Chapron, built on chassis type DJD 32 #4460059. Factory archives confirm that this chassis was sold on February 8, 1966, and delivered to the Henri Chapron coachbuilding workshops on February 10, 1966. Produced under Chapron build number #8963 and retaining its original body shell #0032000120, this car was completed at the renowned Levallois-Perret workshops. Period documentation indicates that it was originally specified in elegant Ruby Red with a black leather interior.

This DS Chapron is accompanied by official certificates from Citroën Heritage and the Chapron archives, confirming its authenticity and its conformity with the original factory specifications. Powered by the DS 21 engine and fitted with a manual gearbox, it represents one of the most sought-after versions of this legendary 1960s automobile.
