La splendide Porsche 964 Carrera 2 que nous proposons a été livrée neuve par le Centre Porsche Lyon et est restée entre les mains de la même famille de 1990 à 2020, elle a connu au total seulement trois propriétaires ! Reconnaissable aux superbes phares jaunes, cette 964 française n'affiche aujourd'hui que 80 050 kms et se présente dans un état exceptionnel, elle est matching numbers. Peinte en Blanc Grand Prix avec l'intérieur en cuir noir et les inserts en tissu sur les sièges, elle se présente en première peinture intégrale à l'exception des capots qui sont tout de même matching.
L'auto est très bien équipée avec l'ordinateur de bord, la climatisation et le différentiel à glissement limité. Présentée en Août 1989, la nouvelle 964 vient perpétuer l’éternelle histoire de la Porsche 911. Grâce à sa ligne très réussie, la Porsche 964 devient ainsi le modèle emblématique de la firme de Stuttgart à la fin des années 80. Composée à 85 % de nouvelles pièces, elle conserve en grande partie les formes classiques de sa devancière, avec des traits plus voluptueux. Disponible dans de multiples versions Coupé, Targa et Cabriolet, en deux et quatre roues motrices, ce fut évidemment un succès commercial pour la marque.
Le moteur atmosphérique de la Carrera 2 développe 250 chevaux, couplé au poids annoncé de 1350 kg, cela promettait des performances très respectables pour l'époque, avec notamment une vitesse de pointe annoncée à 260 km/h. Les 100 km/h sont atteints en 5,7 secondes. Le Flat 6 refroidi par air conserve également ses deux soupapes par cylindre.

The splendid Porsche 964 Carrera 2 we are offering was delivered new by Porsche Centre Lyon and remained in the same family from 1990 to 2020, having had only three owners in total! Recognizable by its superb yellow headlights, this French-market 964 now shows only 80,050 km and is presented in exceptional condition. It is matching numbers. Finished in Grand Prix White with a black leather interior and fabric seat inserts, it is presented in its first paint with the exception of the hoods, which are still matching.
The car is very well equipped with the onboard computer, air conditioning, and limited-slip differential. Benefiting from extensive and high-quality maintenance, it is in perfect running condition and has just been serviced by a Porsche specialist in Paris. Featuring the desirable manual gearbox, this is a rare opportunity to acquire a superb example of the 964 Carrera 2. It naturally comes with its service book, and we also have important historical documents including the purchase order, original invoice, and first registration document.
Presented in August 1989, the new 964 perpetuates the timeless story of the Porsche 911. Thanks to its highly successful design, the Porsche 964 became the emblematic model of the Stuttgart firm at the end of the 1980s. Composed of 85% new parts, it largely retained the classic shape of its predecessor, with more rounded lines. Available in multiple versions, Coupé, Targa, and Cabriolet, with both two- and four-wheel drive, it was of course a commercial success for the brand.
The naturally aspirated Carrera 2 engine produces 250 horsepower, and combined with a stated weight of 1,350 kg, it offered very respectable performance for the time, including a top speed of 160 mph. The car reaches 60 mph in 5.7 seconds. The air-cooled flat-six engine also retains its two valves per cylinder.
